There�s a new sheriff in town and he decided the old website had to go! So finally, the much-anticipated re-launch of k2bike.com is here. With easier navigation, better functionality, more bikes, detailed specs, valuable info and cooler graphics, it aims to please.
One of the coolest features on the new site is the zoom feature located on the bike detail pages. You can navigate your mouse over any part of the bike photo and see that area enlarged in the zoom box or if you prefer, you can download a photo to your computer. This will help you get a better view of not only the dynamic graphics, but of the spec as well.

K2 Bike is getting their hands dirty with new product development. For release in 2011, K2 will be bring two new platforms to the mountain bike line up. These models will be sold in the US as well as K2�s international distribution channels.
The first platform is a 5.2� travel dual suspension chassis which is targeted for trail and all-mountain riding. It will feature a 4 bar linkage, sealed bearing pivots, tapered steerer, and plastic formed tube-set.
The second platform is a 29� wheeled hardtail which will be available with 1X9 gearing. The frame will feature a zero stack head tube to keep the front end low and a hydroformed tube-set that is designed to cancel chattering and vibration.
These two new frames are targeted toward the backwoods biker who wants one machine that can conquer the toughest of trails.
